i still cant figure out what quadrant i ship these jerks in anyway this is based on my headcanon whenever karkat gets sad or mad or upset he wanders off to some random corner of the meteor to mope in peace, but none of the meteor dwellers are technically allowed to go off on their own in the interest of ~safety~ so someone has to go and find him. and it ends up usually being dave because he’s the first one to notice karkat’s gone, so dave takes it upon himself to tromp up and down the meteor for a few hours looking for him. when he finds him dave just kind of sits next to him and annoys the shit out of him until karkat agrees to tell him whats wrong. then they have a feelings jam and hug it out like bros do.
